Using this site

The content here (writing, talks, projects) is mine and shared for your personal, non-commercial use. It's provided "as is", without warranty. I do my best to keep it accurate, but I'm not liable for decisions made based on it.

Text messaging (SMS) terms

I offer a personal, one-to-one "Text me" option so you can reach me directly. Here's how it works:

• It's conversational and user-initiated. You start the conversation by texting my number (+16505473298) from your own phone. I reply personally. I never text people who haven't messaged me first, and there are no automated marketing or promotional messages.
• Consent. By texting me, you consent to receive my replies at the number you texted from. This is a personal conversation, not a subscription or a campaign.
• Message frequency. Varies; it depends entirely on our back-and-forth. I only message you in response to you.
• Cost. Message and data rates may apply, depending on your mobile carrier and plan.
• Opt out. Reply STOP at any time and I won't text you again. Reply HELP for help, or email me at hi@jorgeferreiro.com.
• Carriers. Carriers are not liable for delayed or undelivered messages.

Your phone number and messages are handled as described in my Privacy Policy. Mobile information is never sold or shared with third parties for marketing.

Changes

I may update these terms occasionally. The "last updated" date at the top reflects the current version.
