Privacy Policy

This is the personal website of Jorge Ferreiro ("Jorge", "I", "me"). I keep this short and honest: this is a personal portfolio, not a data business. I don't sell your information, and I collect as little as possible.

What I collect

• Messages you send me. If you use the contact form, email me, or text my number, I receive what you send: your message and the email address or phone number you sent it from, so I can reply.
• Basic analytics. Like most websites, I may collect aggregate, non-identifying usage data (pages viewed, rough location, device type) to understand what's useful. This isn't tied to your identity.

Text messages (SMS)

My site shows a "Text me" button and phone number. Texting is entirely your choice and entirely user-initiated: the button simply opens your own phone's messaging app, pre-addressed to me. I never upload, buy, or contact phone numbers on my own; I only reply to people who text me first.

• When you text me, your phone number and message are stored privately so I can read and reply to our conversation.
• I use Twilio to send and receive these messages and may be alerted to new texts on my own devices. Messages are not shared with anyone else.
• No mobile information is shared with third parties or affiliates for marketing or promotional purposes. SMS opt-in and your phone number are never sold or shared.
• You can stop at any time by replying STOP. Reply HELP for help. Message and data rates may apply.

How I use it

Only to reply to you and to have the conversation you started. I don't run marketing campaigns, newsletters, or automated promotional texts to people who message me.

What I don't do

• I don't sell your data. Ever.
• I don't share your phone number or messages with third parties for their own marketing.
• I don't send you unsolicited texts.

Your choices

You can ask me to delete your messages and contact details at any time; just email me at hi@jorgeferreiro.com and I'll take care of it. To stop receiving texts from me, reply STOP to any message.
